When the Kentucky Community Technical College System (KCTCS) sought to increase the number of diverse suppliers it solicits and engages state-wide, it looked to National Diversity Solutions (NDS). KCTCS is impressed with the results. “Through their efforts, NDS has helped us increase the number of diverse suppliers that we utilize at the system level by 30.9 percent from where we were this time last year,” notes Wendell Followell, System Director of Business Services for KCTCS. “This includes growing the number of diverse suppliers we use for such categories as office supplies, technology and educational expenses, among others.”

BCTC will host an event in support of the Kentucky Community and Technical College System’s (KCTCS) Supplier Diversity Initiative targeting minority business owners in the area who want to learn more about opportunities for doing business with the college, 5:30 p.m. – 7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 13. The event will take place in building “C” of the BCTC Conference Center on the Leestown campus. Lexington-based National Diversity Solutions has been retained by KCTCS to facilitate the Initiative.
